THIS WEEK AT PATHWAY

Scott continues a series on our call to serve. We’re exploring what it looks like for us to serve like Jesus served. This week we’re focusing on the area of discernment. What is discernment? How can we really know it’s God leading us?
On Sunday, October 5th, each of us was handed a $10 bill and challenged to prayerfully discern how God would have us use it. The rules are simple: during the next two weeks, use the money to reach out to someone from “outside” of Pathway — even if it takes us out of our comfort zone.
Come back and share your story with the rest of the Pathway family at www.ServeHereServeThere.com and read how others experienced God’s leading in reaching out. Check back often!
Discernment - Oct 5
Are you making finding the will of God harder than it needs to be? Are you trying to overspiritualize it? How do we make the will of God seem less mystical?
Serving in Strength (Part 2) - Sept. 28
Are you living up to your full potential, or are you asleep in the garden of Gethsemane? Using our potential as a gauge, Scott shares how we can assess whether we are serving God with all of our strength.
Serving in Strength (Part 1) - Sept. 21
The Greatest Commandment calls us to love God not only with all our heart, soul and mind, but also our strength. To serve as Jesus served, we may actually have to break a sweat.

Intimidation can be hard to overcome. One thing the Bible speaks of in defeating intimidation is self-discipline. Where are you lacking in self-discipline? Is it a straightforward issue or is something deeper at the root of it all?
Intimidation (Part 3) - Aug 31
Who thinks of intimidation and love in the same sentence? It might seem strange, but one of the greatest tools used to break free of intimidation is love.
